RESIN BOUND DRIVEWAYS
Resin Bound is made from a blend of aggregates coated with a clear UV-stable resin. To ensure that each aggregate particle is completely coated in resin, the two elements are combined in a mix process forming a cold-pour mixture.
The mixture is then poured and hand-troweled to form a smooth driveway surface with no loose stones.
Benefits of Resin Bound Driveways:
• Water Permeable (reduced risk of flooding and puddles)
• No loose stones to clean up
• Low Maintenance
• Natural Finish
RESIN BOND DRIVEWAYS
Resin bonded surfacing, or ‘scattercoat’ paving is non-permeable. Meaning that if resin bonded surfaces are being installed into your Pickford driveway you will also need to consider soak-aways and channel drains to prevent water run-off which could lead to flooding.
Resin bonded surfacing is made by sprinkling loose aggregate on the top of resin. However, it’s not as durable as resin bound paving and the bonded stones may loosen over time with heavy use.
Benefits of Resin Bond Driveways:
• Tough textured finished with Anti-slip properties
• Low maintenance
• Natural gravel-like finish
